曼荼羅雲元三式

This design is inspired by a dark hero who existed in Japan.In a certain year, a great epidemic spread throughout the capital.A monk named Gansan Daishi decided to contain the disease within his own body. One day, while looking into a mirror, he realized he had taken on the appearance of a Oni(demon). It is said that while he was feared by the people, he managed to control the demon’s power within him and eventually subdued the epidemic.The design is embellished with the designer’s main motif, “Yuun”(playful clouds). These clouds symbolize the indescribable haze in people’s hearts, representing something precious that everyone possesses.

このデザインは現実に日本に存在したダークヒーローをモチーフにしている。 ある年、都に疫病が大流行した。それを治めようとした和尚の元三大師は疫病そのものを自分の体に取り込んでいくことを決意。ある日鏡を覗くと自分が鬼の姿になっていることに気付く。人々に恐れられながらも内にある鬼の力を制御しながら疫病を治めたと言われている。
デザインにはデザイナー醪のメインモチーフである遊雲”ゆううん”を散りばめている。雲は人の心にある言葉にできないモヤを具象化し、誰しもが持っている大事なものを表現した。
